Children's Model Seder
Recalling that at the Last Supper Jesus was
celebrating Passover with a seder meal, this Lent the Sunday school children
enacted a model seder. Teacher Sue drew on her own Jewish upbringing to
bring this celebration fun, authenticity and grace.
- The seder starts with lighting the candles and
washing the hands.
- As always, the older kids help the younger ones.
.
- After we read the Passover story and talk about the
seder plate,
- there's a break to act out the 10 plagues.

Pictures of the
plagues stop after the hail storm as the photographer graciously helped
sweep up mini-marshmallow hail, before members would step on it on their
way into the Café after the
service! |

Back at our seder meal, we relax and enjoy

And no seder is complete

Thanks, Teacher Sue,
for organizing our
