Rev. Chris Coon,
Interim Pastor/Transitional Pastor
The Reverend Chris Coon joined PBPC as it's new interim pastor in September 2012, replacing previous interim Pastor George Gilcrhist. He is a Bay Area native and graduate of UC Berkeley. He received his Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena and his Master of Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. He has served as Associate Pastor at Centerville Presbyterian Church in Fremont, and most recently as Interim Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Newark. For the past few years, he has run his own home improvement business in the Oakland-Berkeley area. Chris lives with his wife and two young children in Albany.
