Wondering what happens on Sunday?

We know that being totally new to church, or returning after a long time away, it can be a little intimidating to just show up to a church you've never been to before—especially if you're single. We've taken the opportunity to imagine a few questions you may have and answer them for you!
Q: What kind of people go there?
A: We're just like you! (You can read more about "Who We Are")
Q: What should I wear?
A: Some dress up, but you don't have to! Be yourself, be casual and comfortable, just come on down!
Q: Will I be "put on the spot" as a visitor, or be asked to do anything?
A: No, we don't want to make anyone uncomfortable, we just want you to know you're welcome in our church.
Q: What do I do when I get there?
A: Come ten to fifteen minutes before service and help yourself to a cup of coffee, mingle, say "Hi" if you want to; others may beat you to it!
Q: Where do I sit during the service?
A: You're welcome to sit up front, way in back or anywhere in between!
Q: I'm not familiar with prayer or singing hymns . . . can I ask someone about these things?
A: Feel free to sit quietly during prayer, hum along or just listen to the music; introduce yourself to the Pastor after the service and ask your question.
Remember that everything we do the first time can be confusing and we can feel a bit unsure about how to act or what to say . . . but like anything, you'll be more sure of yourself the more you come!
