Mission of PBPC
Our Motto Park Boulevard Presbyterian Church...where lives change for Good.
Mission Statement Park Blvd Presbyterian Church is part of the worldwide community of Christian believers. Guided by the Holy Spirit, our purpose is to draw people from all backgrounds and every generation into life-changing relationship with God through Jesus Christ. For this reason, we gather together to praise God, study the Scriptures, pray, share the love of Jesus, and encourage each other in practical acts of loving service to our neighbors, friends, families, and children in Oakland and throughout the world.
PBPC's History Who a congregation is is also reflected in its history. During the Mission Study we did a couple years ago, the congregation also reflected on the history of its ministry at the corner of Park Boulevard and Hampel Street.
