We want to geto know one another better, and one of the best ways is sitting down together for a meal. PBPC is now starting a program to arrange such dinners every couple of months for members, visitors and non-members alike.

Then let us know, can you host a group at your home seating 6-10 people at your table? If not hosting, you will be given a food assignment to prepare or purchase and bring. (Or maybe your group decides to go out to a retaurant!) It all works!

Have you or someone you know experienced the death of a spouse recently or within the last couple years? Sharing our experiences during this 10-week class is extremely helpful to our healing process. Find hope, support and successful ways to process this significant life event. Course is open to all Widows and Widowers. Enrollments are now being accepted – can start up to 3rd week. Pre-Registration required. The workbook is $10. Please call the contact at the church where you would like to attend the group.

Operation Christmas Child will be in full-swing beginning this Sunday, October 18th, 2009! This is the time ofyear when we each fill up at least one shoebox each (as many as you want), with items to be given to needy children for the Christmas Holiday. For more information, the Sunday bulletins will have brochures in them detailing how to fill your boxes and what kinds of items are most appropriate. Also, you can visit the Samaritan's Purse web site for all the details online.
