- Discipleship &
Small Group Ministry
- Small Groups
- Much of our growth in our faith and in our
relationship with Christ comes through the friendship and encouragement of
other Christians. At PBPC, we encourage this growth through an assortment of
small study and fellowship groups. Some of the groups are targeted at
selected populations of our members and friends, and others are open to all.
Groups meet on the church campus unless otherwise specified.

- Congregational Care
Ministries
- "Congregational Care Ministries is an extension of the ministry of
PBPC to the elderly, homebound, ill, hospitalized, the dying, and residents
of senior homes. It includes conducting Bible studies and a worship
service for residents in senior facilities and a nursing home, touching up
to 60 people each month. It encompasses visiting, encouraging, consoling,
and praying with PBPC members, friends, and their families. It
often means responding to emergencies." Dr Bob.
With the retirement of Dr. Bob, this ministry is in the
midst of new visioning and restructuring under the leadership of Pastor Chris and
the Deacons.
- Youth Ministries
- (7th to 12th Grades)
- The Youth Ministries program emphasizes
relationships between the Youth Ministries
leaders and teens. These
relationships are nurtured in one-on-one time between the leaders and the
teens in the Youth Group. That time could include midnight trips to
Krispy Kreme's, battling over Play Station, shopping at the mall, or just
hanging out. And as the relationships grow, the teens and the leaders
can share with each other their lives and their faiths.
