Welcome to Park Boulevard
Presbyterian Church

Join us for worship at 10:30 this Sunday, May 20th, to learn from and be challenged by a special guest speaker, John Smith, the Director of Oakland Young Life…

John’s sermon will be: "Let’ Go Fishing" (based on John 21)

  • John Smith and Young Life have been long-term friends with Park Boulevard Presbyterian. Oakland Young Life is supported in the PBPC Mission’s Budget.
  • Come one, come all - PBPC worship is "worshipper friendly"
  • Enjoy a blended worship with the best in contemporary, praise music combined with dynamic, traditional worship music.

Key recent events at PBPC . . .

  • Since last January until the present, 17 folks from PBPC have joined with about 25 others from a dozen Oakland area churches for the internationally known missions class, Perspectives on the World Christian Movement held each week on the PBPC campus.
  • Tuesday night, the 15th, the class celebrated their graduation and God’s calling to serve Christ around the world.

Ray Vander Laan video Bible class & discussion

Make a  “creative change” in your Sunday schedule to include the 9:00 a.m. adult class in the Higher Grounds Café. Enlightening video on the life and times of Jesus, lite breakfast, live discussion!

PBPC's Relevant Youth: "Relevant to God, the Community . . . the World!"

February 15th our youth group partnered with 1st Presbyterian Church of Alameda and Habor House to help out with Family Literacy Night at Franklin Elementary. The event—where our youth helped serve a meal and spent time with the kids—was a great success! Care to join or help out at the next event? Contact Youth Director, Johnny O.

Newcomers: We warmly welcome you to PBPC

Come make Park Boulevard Presbyterian your spiritual home! If you're interested in becoming a member, ask the pastor or elders about New Member Classes.

If you're wrestling with difficult economic, or life-changing transitions, wondering: "Who is God, and how can I know Him? Does He have anything for me?" or simply "How do I improve my relationships with God, others, myself?" . . .

. . . then you've come to the right place! We represent different cultures, ages, ethnicities and circumstances and are joined together by the love of Christ. We open our doors every Sunday morning for all to come learn about God, his Word and how to apply it in your life.
Experience God through PBPC—where lives change . . . for good!
